Women’s Nines Festival Returns at West Park Leeds | July 5th, 2025

Nines is back this July for an unforgettable day of sport, celebration, and community as the Women’s Nines Festival makes its highly anticipated return in 2025 and this time, it’s bigger, better, and packed into one spectacular day! 
 
Returning as a highlight of the summer for Women’s Rugby League following the Challenge Cup, this year’s festival will feature an exciting new format that combines the full tournament and finals into a single action-packed day. Expect thrilling matches, vibrant festivities, and plenty of off-field fun. 
 
Reigning champions and Challenge Cup finalists, Wigan Warriors, are back to defend their unbeaten title from last year’s tournament. They’ll be joined by the remaining seven teams from the Betfred Women’s Super League, along with the addition of brand-new teams set to shake up the competition. 
 
This year’s Nines has a unique polaroid theme and we’re inviting everyone to “Put Yourself in the Picture” for what promises to be a picture-perfect day of high-energy, fast-paced Women’s Rugby League, on and off the pitch. 
 
 This year’s festival experience will include: 
 • A vibrant Sports Village for athletes 
  • Unique ‘Instagrammable’ photo spots 
  • Bingo cards and activities for younger fans 
 ... And much more! 
 
The fun doesn’t stop there! To add to this year’s excitement, the festival will feature live music from Jamie Anne, the official DJ for Manchester City FC, who’ll bring the ultimate festival vibe to accompany the exhilarating Rugby League action.
